L.R. Fox, a proven entrepreneur in the highly regulated technology sector and a Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient, has founded global tech companies, led high-impact nonprofits, and shared his inspiring story with millions. Throughout his young career, he has leveraged his intelligence, tenacity, and skills to combat threats such as bomb-laden terrorist drones, establish safe houses for human trafficking victims, advocate for foster youth rights through legislative efforts, and pioneer the development of a long-acting, reversible male birth control. Passionate about improving society, he currently serves as the Founder and CEO of NEXT Global Capital, his family office dedicated to de-risking high-impact companies and nonprofits that are redefining the future and have the potential to affect billions of lives.
Fox launched his first company, WhiteFox Defense, while navigating the foster care system—an experience that shaped his ability to operate in highly regulated spaces, both personally and professionally. His journey solidified a passion for delivering effective solutions to emerging markets and critical societal issues.
During his time in foster care, Fox witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences of limited access to effective family planning options. This realization led him to establish NEXT Life Sciences and spearhead the development of Plan A™. Historically, the burden of family planning has disproportionately fallen on women, yet today, men are more eager than ever to take an active role. Fox envisions Plan A™ as the first choice couples consider when planning their pregnancies.
Fox also recognized another troubling pattern among his peers in foster care—many of the most talented individuals ended up in dire circumstances, with some tragically no longer here. With over 100 million orphans worldwide, he saw an opportunity to invest in those with extraordinary potential. This vision inspired him to establish the NEXT Foundation and the Oasis Academy, designed to provide transformational opportunities to individuals whose talents shine brightest but whose circumstances have held them back.
